To a Long Weekend

What are you up to this weekend? This week has marked the start of summer classes in my MSW program, so I am looking forward to a nice break. We plan on making it to The Egg for a day of family fun. I hope you enjoy the fireworks if you’re able to.

This week, I posed the question, “How do you manage your busy life?” to my fellow social work graduate students who are moms. I also did a deep dive into the world of organizing and managing my time. I may spend some of my time this weekend curating a system that works for me, because I need something that works.

I have not done one bit of recreational reading, so, I am slowly trying to give For Her Own Good a second go around.

There is a song that has been making the rounds on social media in a deeply profound way. It sheds light on the subject of grief, a theme that has been recurring for me personally and on many levels. How Earthsignchels captured the raw, visceral and volatile emotions associated with grief in one song and the performance of a lifetime is beyond me?! Wow, just wow!

Lately I have been been saving every interesting videos on crochet, embroidery and watercolor art I could find on pretty much every platform. I am working on a crochet bag inspired by the Miu Miu crochet tote bag.

To good vibes.
